Creating Agroktima Philippos High Phenolic Olive Oil was to make sure that you, all your family and your friends would not only get the genuine flavour of the olive juice but also get the best nutritional benefit that will help you live a more positive, healthy, nutritional lifestyle, much like the one you aim for everyday.
It all started in 2000 when Glafkos Schizas returned to his boyhood village in Cyprus, after spending decades building his business abroad and setting up his family home in London. The natural environment he generated in Evrychou stemmed from having lost his wife to cancer. He vowed not to allow any chemicals or pesticides to be used in any food produced for consumption.
Glafkos firmly believed that high quality healthy standards should not be a marketing ploy but actually mean it and provide it 100%. No jargon was to be used to complicate and confuse your understanding of the product and the market itself.
The advantage to produce high phenolic olive oil, came with many years of past experience and teachings which were passed down through five generations. Glafkos carried on the development and maintenance of olive groves and produced olive oil full of aromas and bursting with flavour. Although new technology has helped to increase the extraction of oil from the olives, it is the traditional methods that have given Glafkos a better understanding of how to produce higher nutritional values.
When studies about the health benefits of olive oil were published, it gave an additional purpose to make sure that the quality of olive oil produced was to naturally contain the nutrients that would improve your lifestyle. This was cemented after Glafkos's own experience where he increased his mobility and became even more active after taking high phenolic olive oil himself. Now he makes sure that all his family and friends are taking olive oil ritualy.
